It only takes 10-15 minutes to get to the Galleria mall for great shopping and 20-30 minutes to get downtown.

Most of the homes in Citrus Heights were built before 1990. The average home is made with wood frame construction, stucco siding and on a slab foundation and this is a great design for the area which leads to years of use without much maintenance.  A nice neighborhood adjacent to Citrus Heights with newer homes would be Antelope.

Bella Vista High gets a 9 out of 10. It is in Fair Oaks.  But I am pretty sure it is full and hard to get you kid in their if you don’t live within their district.

A good alternative high school that is close to Citrus Heights is Oakmont High and it gets an overall score of 9 on a scale of 1-10. If you apply I think you can get an district transfer.
